Nestling on the banks of River Nethy, Ptarmigan Lodge enjoys a superb location in Nethy Bridge – the ‘forest village’. The lodge has been designed in the style of a North American ski lodge and enjoys relaxing views across the river to the ancient Abernethy Forests and location for BBC Winterwatch.
It provides the perfect holiday home for families and sporting groups (we do not accept stag/hen groups or party groups).
The nearby Cairngorms are home to the elusive Ptarmigan, a rare mountain dwelling bird, after which the lodge is named. The new outside Hot Tub allows you to relax and soak in the peace and quiet of the forest and listen to the river.
